Ping Kitnikone becomes Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand. Ms. Kitnikone replaces Sarah Taylor.

Emily McLaughlin becomes Ambassador to the Czech Republic. Ms. McLaughlin replaces Ayesha Rekhi.

Cheryl Cruz becomes Ambassador to the Slovak Republic. Ms. Cruz replaces Troy Lulashnyk.

Hugh Adsett becomes Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Mr. Adsett replaces Lisa Helfand.

Adler Aristilde becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe. Mr. Aristilde replaces Christina Buchan.

Behzad Babakhani becomes Consul General in Guangzhou (People’s Republic of China). Mr. Babakhani replaces Philippe Rheault.

Annie Dubé becomes Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City (Socialist Republic of Vietnam). Ms. Dubé replaces Behzad Babakhani.

François Jubinville becomes Consul General in Rio de Janeiro (Federative Republic of Brazil). Mr. Jubinville replaces David Verbiwski.

Tracy Reynolds becomes Consul General in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Mr. Reynolds replaces Jean-Philippe Linteau.

Joshua Tabah becomes Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Mr. Tabah replaces Stéphane Jobin.

Jeanette Sautner becomes Ambassador to Lithuania. Ms Sautner is Canada’s first resident ambassador in Vilnius.

Amy Baker becomes Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway. Ms. Baker replaces Deirdre Kent.

Rosaline Kwan becomes Consul General in Atlanta (United States of America). Ms. Kwan replaces Nadia Theodore, who was appointed in 2022 as Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, in Geneva.

Aly-Khan Rajani becomes Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan. Mr. Rajani replaces Jenny Hill.

Beth Richardson becomes Consul General in Minneapolis (United States of America). Ms. Richardson replaces Ariel Delouya.

Stuart Savage becomes Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States, in Washington, D.C. Mr. Savage replaces Hugh Adsett.

Annick Goulet becomes Permanent Representative of Canada to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), effective as of July 3, 2023.

June 6, 2023

Ben Marc Diendéré becomes Permanent Observer to the African Union, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Mr. Diendéré replaces Stéphane Jobin in this role.
