In honour of Canada’s first woman head of mission, the Margaret Meagher Room was inaugurated in the Lester B. Pearson Building on Monday, April 15 by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ian Shugart and Corporate Women’s Champion Sarah Taylor.

Ambassador’s Meagher, among other Canadian female diplomats, is featured in the book Envoys Extraordinary.
