Diplomatic appointment

The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointment:
Philip Baker becomes High Commissioner in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Permanent Representative of Canada to the Economic Community of West African States. Mr. Baker replaces Christopher Thornley.
